Doris Issendorf - Henning, MN
Circlekeeper 2008
Born a Minnesota farm girl...close to the earth. Doris steps to a different beat these days. Six years ago her beloved Izzy passed and she found herself a widow at age 44. His death catapulted her into a spiritual awakening. Seeking contact through prayer she found the drumbeat brought her purpose into focus. Slowly, with the spirits permission, she allowed herself the privilege to use Izzys shop. Red Eagle drums was born. She invites Spirit to help her build drums to echo the heartbeat of Mother Earth and all life.
Doris is currently employed as a Dietary Manager at Lake Region Healthcare but her passion is drums. She hosts drumming circles at her home near Henning Minnesota. She will bring drums to try and drums to buy and invites you to bring the heartbeat of the Mother alive.
Belva Weston - Flandreau, SD
Exploring
Near Death Experience
Belva Weston is a wife and mother of five children with two grandchildren and one who is set to make its appearance in March.
She has worked as a Registered Nurse for 31 years and worked in Hospice for 6 years.
At just four years old Belva had her first Near Death Experience (NDE). The next was when she was and adolescent at 13 years old and two more NDE’s at 27 and 29 years old. She also had an out of body experience when she nineteen years old.
Belva is going to talk about her personal Near Death Experiences. Previously being a IANDs Group Leader, she will also explain where to find support and the after effects of having Near Death Experience.
She will also be conducting Tea Leaf Readings during this retreat.
Mary Zeise - Wadena, MN
Weed Control and Sweet Delights
Mary is a mother, grandmother and owner of Down Home Foods in Wadena, a health food store and center of abundant resources. She is also an herbalist and student of many teachings; currently Chinese medicine. She is an energetic spirit who fills every heart and soul she touches with joy.
We will be making dandelion tea and other teas, all from the plants that grow in our own backyards or gardens. Mary will lead us in an ancient ceremony of cleansing each other's feet in a special honey, sage and raw sugar mixture, to nourish our body and soul. Bringing forth communication in how to care for ourselves and simplify our lives. Remembering...
or imagining what makes us cozy! We will eat whole grain healthy cookies Mary has made and talk about ways to be sweet to ourselves!
Cookies unlimited! A class you will not want to miss!
Becky Stanton - Backus, MN
Journaling: A Gift for You
Whether you journal consistently or if you would like to begin, here's the opportunity to deepen your journal experiences or make the commitment to use this as a tool to process and acknowledge your life experience. We will work to release much of the "stuff" we learned about grammar, writing and drawing that block us from expressing our free spirit to flow through our hearts and hands. We are guided to your own unique journaling style. Bring a drawing journal if you choose, paper provided also.
Becky has learned that home schooling has taught her more than what she teaches her teenage daughter! She finds herself a guide allowing her daughter to direct herself towards her natural interests.
Becky offers her home for small retreat gatherings. She is trained in nursing, family studies (with a focus on health education), healing touch, spiritual direction, the way of the medicine wheel, shaman healing and goddess spirituality.
Ann McGregor, Karen Chobot - Fergus Falls, MN
"THE SACRED HEARTH" Finding the place of your home and family in your spiritual practice. Karen and Ann show you ways to include your ancestors and your own possessions in order to develop your spiritual path, create protections, strengthen your intentions, and help you find the things you need to know in your life.
Suzannah Martin - St. Paul, MN
"TRANCE DANCE" A spiritual journey into the shamaic world. We dance with spiritual intention to: heal ourselves, gain information, and/or to open ourselves spiritually, to heal the world.
This is not a disco nor a rave. Nor is it a spectator sport. We allow our bodies to move, or NOT move, in any way that spirit moves us, including sitting still. There are no rules, only guidelines. Music helps us connect to alpha waves. Moving our bodies distracts our minds. A blindfold creates a safe private space, as well as a "blackboard" on which to "see" what our subconscious presents.
It may feel like walking off the edge of a cliff, but don't be surpised if
you FLY!
Paddy McLaughlin - Fargo, ND

"NOW IS THE TIME, WE ARE THE ONES. Message of hope from the Mother."

Dr. Margaret Peterson, CCWP, DC - Enderlin, ND
